OneRagtime at Vivatech 2023
What an incredible week at Vivatech! This event was yet another opportunity to witness how tremendous progress we made in France over the past 10y! Let's recap:
From the electrifying presence of Elon Musk to the impressive government plans, we're thrilled to see:
➡️ The announcement by Emmanuel Macron of the TIBI II plan: a €7bn plan to back hyper-growth scale-ups by leveraging investment from institutional stakeholders in growth and early-stage funds. Thanks to Philippe Tibi and Edouard Durand, this is great news for our vibrant ecosystem.
➡️ The release of the Paul Midy report to unleash investments from individuals into innovative startups and SMEs. €3Bn annually to create more than 200k jobs by 2027.
➡️ The announcement of Elisabeth BORNE's "Tech pour toutes" program: a great catalyst to promote gender equality in technology and digital professions. The program will support 10,000 young women in higher education in the digital sector by 2026.
➡️ The announcement of "Je choisis la FrenchTech" to boost public and private-sector orders for start-ups will bring more than 40 institutional players and 255 companies, including 108 major groups, who have pledged to double their purchases from French Tech players by 2027.
It's also great to see a great presence of our corporate partners, including CMA CGM, FDJ - La Française des Jeux, and La Poste Groupe, who vividly showcase the boundless spirit of innovation in France.
At Vivatech, our founder Stephanie Hospital also had the privilege to engage in discussions with esteemed experts like Philippe Botteri (Accel), Thierry Souche (OVHcloud), and Christina Cacioppo (Vanta), on the latest trends in cybersecurity.
Our conversations highlighted the crucial need for cloud sovereignty and sustainability in today's digital landscape. And a good way to promote our cybersecurity startups: Buster.Ai, Yogosha, Mantra, and Hive.
The Accel side-event was almost a OneRagtime gathering, as OneRagtime had the pleasure to be there with Axel Dauchez (Make.org), Taig Khris (onoff Telecom), and Frédéric Mazzella (Captain Cause). Their presence underscored the strong representation of the OneRagtime community at Vivatech!
Let's not forget about our fantastic startups that showcased their innovation at Vivatech, including Make.org, Captain Cause, Ekie, Golem.ai, and many others. These visionary entrepreneurs embody the entrepreneurial spirit that propels France forward. The future holds great promise!
A heartfelt thank you to François Bitouzet, Lara Kornel, and the entire VivaTech teams. Thanks to Maurice Lévy and Pierre Louette for their exceptional dedication to promoting France. Your passion, commitment, and vision have transformed VivaTech into an extraordinary event, making the French tech shine. More than ever, we are committed with OneRagtime and our founders to success.
